Realizing that the energy of the emotional body attracts others to us, we can see the effects of
our attraction by the "company" we keep. Our parents may have even said, "we are judged by
the company that we keep"; how true that really is.

A reader writes:
"Why do I find myself in the same relationship over and over? I don't mean that I am dating the same guy, but
I may as well be… I find the same actions, the same arguments, the same problems. I seem to attract people
that are going to hurt me. I only realize this in the end; I will end one relationship because of major
differences and start one identical to the one that I just left! I don't intend to do this, but I start out feeling that
this is the one, the only…and then somehow the truth comes out. I'm tired of this! Why am I bringing these
hurts into my life? Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?"  Wanting in life

Emotional Relational Attraction is the study of how we attract people to us. As a researcher studying
Emotional Relational Attraction, I find the answer to this problem in a rather unusual place, a swamp! Anyone
that has gone fly fishing has discovered that a frog will attack your fishing fly. Why? The frog will only see
something that looks like food! Nothing else will attract the frog. The reason is that the brain of the frog is
unable to see anything else except something that will fill its need. Is it effective? Not 100%. It will eat a lot
things that are not food, but only looks like food...a fluff of cotton wood, a stray bit of leaf. Not a problem; the
frog will eat it if it sees it. An automatic response of the frog is to eat first, digest later… it works for the frog.

The subconscious mind sees all, knows all; but paying attention is the role of the conscious mind. As a result
of this, we will often fail to see the obvious, even when it is right before our eyes. The subconscious mind will
use our inability to pay attention to further its own needs, to present us with opportunities to learn and grow.

The aura is the visual representation of the body's energy...the energy of the body being split into seven
major centers, controlling different functions of the Mind/Body/Spirit. Consider if you were to take your radio
and plug it into the power from your home outlet. You would have music, your microwave … food, and … well,
you get idea. The power is split into many different ways and each is specialized to the desired need. The
energy is processed through the Chakras, or energy centers, of the body. Each center controls a different
part of the body.

This list shows each Chakra, its location, the color attributed to it, and what function it controls within the
body.

*Notice that the Mind/Body/Spirit is attributed with primary colors and that functions of the soul are
represented by
secondary colors.

**White is the Balance or inclusion of all color.

Let's take a look at how this could occur in your everyday life.

The mind (Red) initiates a thought; the energy of that thought is released to take action within the body
(yellow) or spirit (blue). The thought, finding a receptive site within the body, would lend itself toward the
creative energy. This energy of the thought (mind), combined with the body (action), creates reality. As an
artist would blend the colors Red and Yellow to create Orange, so would the soul combine energies to create
"realities." The reality created within the
mind plus action would equal physical realities.

It is these realities that the conscious mind will use to motivate or move the soul to its greater growth.
Consider a garden of great beauty...resting there would be wonderful and if there were no pressing duties or
needs, we could stay there indefinitely. Finding yourself in the middle of a swamp, surrounded by hungry
alligators… would be the physical reality that you have created in your life. Might there be motivation to move
on? Growth is dependent on the soul's ability to find the reasons for movement. Unhappy people are
motivated more to grow!

The realities that we create are from thoughts. Thoughts are manifestations of the mind and the thoughts are
moved by emotions. So it stands to reason that if we have an idea of what the soul’s outlook is or what the
"needs" are, then we can determine what the "realities" are going to be. By that same standard we can
create our own realities.

Aura Photography has come a long way since the days of Nikola Tesla, who in the 1890's first discovered
that the aura was able to be photographed by running 50,000 volts of electricity through his body and then
recording the results on photographic plates.

Soviet Scientists Semyon and Valentina Kirlian, in 1939, developed a more practical method than Tesla's by
sending the electric current through a condenser-like photographic plate. A ghostly blue light shows the
interaction of the body’s energies with the high voltage (low amperage) electrical current. Thinking that the
objects placed on the plate would show a manifestation of the "corona discharge," the results were
astonishing! Two other Soviet scientists studying the
life force of psychic healing on plant life discovered that the life force corona discharge was present even on
leaves that had been cut in half. The missing part of the damaged leaf was still present on the photographic
plate.

In 1980, American Engineer and Inventor Guy Coggins developed a camera that could perceive the aura of
the human body, producing a full spectrum color representation of the aura. Like his predecessors, Coggins'
camera used a sensor array, but this time it tapped the energies of the body as well as the electromagnetic
spectrum that we have become so familiar with. Understanding the energy of the body, was, in fact, not much
different than that which was explained by Einstein in his general field theory. Could Einstein have failed to
unite his theory because the emotional energy may have been the missing value? A different continuum?

With today's computer advances, we use a different, safer method to capture the aura. By understanding the
energy of the body, we are able to detect not just one field as Nikola Tesla did, but we can capture seven
different fields: the Chakras described above.

With a sensor array, not unlike the Very Large Radio array featured in the movie "Contact," considerably
smaller sensors pick up this energy field. Then by advanced computer processing, we can lower its vibration
from the emotional energy level, which Coggins' camera measures, to the electromagnetic’s "visual"
spectrum. The energy from the household outlet is no different than your own; it is just at a different
"vibrational level," not unlike switching from AM to FM on the radio wavelengths. This new technology
translates the emotions to a visual spectrum that we can now work with.

The over-used phrase of "Feel those Vibes" would cause all except the most hardened hippie from the 60's
to cringe nowadays, but it is the best phrase to use when describing this energy. These "Vibes" are the
frequency movements of the feelings or emotions. When they are in harmony or moving within similar
frequency ranges, then we "feel" attraction or good; hence the term "Good Vibes." A dis-harmony, or
frequency movements that are not within the frequency range of the body, is not pleasurable… "Bad Vibes."
Getting a shock from your wall outlet tingles, because
it is completely out of range of the body’s energy system. This dis-harmony causes us to move away from the
source of the pain. By measuring the aura, we can see the conflicts within the energy field surrounding the
body.

By understanding the effects of the outside influences on the aura, a psychic is able to tell you a lot about
yourself, creative talents, vibrational patterns, blockages, growths and the call to change. The aura is truly
the "billboard of the Soul." Consciously, we would never say:
"Please, I need a co-dependent, alcoholic person to mentally, physically and emotionally abuse me; I will love
them more than myself to motivate me to love myself more."

But on the Subconscious level, that is just the "reality" we will create to learn to grow.

Wanting in Life …. "Love thy self… as thy neighbor" It works in reverse too!
